Emptyland Records Compilation

Emptyland Records is releasing a compilation and Baby Tears is on it. It's called "Underground Artists Vol. 1". The other musical groups representing are Stident Weasel, Tired League, The Leotards, High Diving Ponies, Mosquito Bandito, Strong Smells and Der Todesking. More details HERE.

Stitches

It's been a while since anyone has heard much out of Baby Tears. About a month ago, Todd cut his hand on a shard of broken glass and severed the tendon in his thumb. After surgery he's been in a cast hence no shows or playing guitar at band practice. We've tried to make the best out of this situation by experimenting with different instruments and writing new songs that don't fit our normal formula of bass, drums, and guitar. Todd is almost all healed up and we're going to start recording a full length this winter. The juices are flowing and new material keeps emerging. At this rate we might need to consider a box set. But who would want that, right?

I had the pleasure of playing a basement show in Minneapolis with them years back with Church of Gravitron. They blew me away then and I still listen to their 5 song CD regularly. -Ethan
